Great Get-a-way in the Winter: Why Family's Love Kalahari's Indoor Water Park

Who wouldn't want to jump over to Hawaii for a mini-vacation? Chances are if you are short on time and cash, a quick, fun, Florida-like vacation in the middle of the Mid-west is Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio - minutes away from Cedar Point. This is the WORLD'S LARGEST INDOOR WATER PARK. It's always 86 degrees inside and the water is like bath water. There are slides, tube rides, and even a water ROLLER COASTER! You walk around in swimwear and sandals - even when it is freezing cold outside. There's the coolest hot-tub that goes from indoor to outdoor. The heat vapors, mixed with the cold breeze, is incredible. KALAHARI is a great one-day, two-day or weekend getaway. I've only visited the Sandusky location so I can't speak for Wisconsin Dells or Fredericksburg, VA - but my experience was wonderful.
* Have you been to Kalahari?
* Did you visit Sandusky or the Wisconsin Dells or Fredericksburg?
